How I do Christmas!!

Like most of the world, we struggle to pay for the large amount of gifts that come with this time of year. In an effort to lighten that load, I tend to be that aunt that makes your gift (I'm sure they all love opening my "boring" gifts)! But, I like the idea of homemade and it saves us tons of money. So, when figuring out what to do for 11 women in my life who would need a gift, this is where I started...I can't give you the finished product picture until after everyone opens their gifts!!! ;)

So, this is my garage during the day and this is how I do Christmas and these are my big helpers while I'm doing it!!!!

Still here!!

So, yes, I am still around! It's amazing how the spring flew by and here we are a month a way from school starting up again! This year two of my big helpers will be in school...hard to believe.

I have been busy with a new woodworking hobby. I have made a window seat, a new headboard, put together an adirondack chair and am now looking at the wood for my new raised gardens. In addition, I went through a small mid-spring decorating crisis!! I had to lighten up our world. So, fresh paint in yellows, whites, reds, greens and blues!! New curtains, pillows and tablecloths and wallah!!! I have a fresh new living room and I must say it is so refreshing and cheery!!

So, yes!! I am still here...filling orders as needed. Just moving at a slower pace these days!

TRANSITION TIME!!

Slowly, over the next few months, I will be transferring my website to this blog!! I am excited to save some money and time by using this blog format!

It does however, mean that I will lose my email address too.

So, what should I do? Create a new email? Or use my old stand-by personal one? Thoughts??
